Can I Move the Home folder to Another Volume?

It is possible to move the “Home” folder to another volume.
Please note however that it will not move the data contained inside the home folder. It will create a new home folder in another volume. Data in the original volume will not be deleted, but won’t be accessible. You may copy the data outside of the home folder before moving it. Otherwise, you would need to create a new shared folder to access the original home folder data1.
How to move the “Home” folder:

Go to Control Panel > Privilege > Users

Click on “Home Folder”

Select the “Disk Volume” and click on “Apply”.
