With QXG-10G4SF-BCM’s four 10GbE SFP+ ports, you can aggregate bandwidth using SMB multichannel or port trunking, achieving up to 40 Gbps total throughput for your NAS. Ideal for high-speed file access and multi-user environments:

• SMB Multichannel: Multiply the available bandwidth (40 Gbps) between NAS and directly-connected clients. Suited for personal use.
• Port Trunking: Increases file access efficiency for simultaneous data access with multiple members. Recommended for users who deploy network switches in their IT infrastructure.

The QXG-10G4SF-BCM network expansion card supports QNAP NAS, Windows®, and Linux® devices, allowing you to maximize the performance potential of all your networked devices.

• NAS operating system: QTS: 5.2.6 (and later), QuTS hero h5.2.6 (and later). Check compatibility list
• Windows®: Windows: 11® 25H2, Windows Server 2022/2025 (driver required)
• Linux®: Ubuntu® 20.04 LTS (driver required)

Strengthen your virtualization environment with SR-IOV

The QXG-10G4SF-BCM supports SR-IOV, which can allocate bandwidth resources from a physical network card directly to VMs on the NAS. It ensures reliable VM applications and reduced CPU overheads.

Note: SR-IOV is supported by specific QNAP NAS models and should work with SR-IOV compatible adapters. Click here to check supported NAS models.

Supports RDMA for Reduced Latency and Enhanced Performance for VM Environments

The QXG-10G4SF-BCM supports RDMA, enabling direct memory access over the network to significantly reduce latency and improve performance and efficiency for VMware® virtualization environments.
