Retention Days and Subscription Period
Besides channel/stream resolution, you can select how many days to upload the recordings in myQNAPcloud Surveillance and the subscription period.
| License plan | Retention window | When retention starts | Billing cycle | Payment date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 days | 30 calendar days of recordings | Purchase date + 30 days | Monthly | Same day-of-month as your purchase date.If that day doesn't exist in a month, we bill on the month's last calendar day (28 / 29 / 30), then return to your exact day next month. |
| 360 days | 360 calendar days of recordings | Purchase date + 360 days | Annually | The purchase-day anniversary, or the month's last day if that date is missing. |
Important
- Backup days: counts the span of calendar dates covered by your uploads. Once the span exceeds the licensed retention window (30 or 360 days), myQNAPcloud Surveillance automatically deletes the oldest recordings to stay within the limit (calendar dates span).
- Payment date: If your original purchase was on the 31st, we still bill on the 31st whenever possible. In months without a 31st, the charge runs on the last day (30th, 28th, 29th) and then snaps back to the 31st in the following month.
