Important Notes

• If you are using an NVIDIA GPU card and have updated the firmware to QTS 5.2.1 (or their later versions), please update NVIDIA GPU Driver in the App Center.
• Due to certain compatibility issues, ARM-based NAS models are unable to run certain third-party applications in QTS 5.2.1. We recommend users of the following applications on an ARM-based NAS to wait until new versions of the applications are released before updating to QTS 5.2.1 or later:
• AhsayOBM (9.7.0.200)
• CloudBackoGo (9.7.2.0 or earlier)
• Qfinder Discovery Service uses UDP port 8097 for communication. To ensure the service functions properly, allow devices in your internal network to access port 8097 through your firewall before enabling the service. We recommend blocking external access to this port if your device permits external connections.

New Features

System

• Starting from QTS 5.2.1, certain QTS NAS models now also support the QuTS hero operating system. After updating to QTS 5.2.1, you can switch to QuTS hero by reinitializing the NAS. Applicable NAS models: HS-264, TBS-464, TS-253E, TS-453E, TS-264, TS-364, TS-464, TS-464C2, TS-664, and TS-466C.

Control Panel

• Administrators can now edit the user ID (UID) of an administrator in Control Panel > Privilege > Users > Edit Account Profile.

Storage & Snapshots

• Storage & Snapshots now displays Qfiling-related storage information on shared folders that are configured as Qfiling space recycling folders.

Enhancement

SSH

• Improved SSH connectivity and added support for additional encryption algorithms such as ECDSA and ED25519. To give users more transition time, we have also temporarily reinstated support for umac-64@openssh.com and hmac-sha1; however, we highly recommend users to switch to other algorithms as soon as possible to ensure greater security.

Fixed Issues

• Fixed an issue for some users where after installing certain memory modules that were not on the compatibility list, the desktop screen would be stuck on "Loading..." after login.
• Fixed an issue where non-root users could not access their home folder on the NAS via SSH.
• Resolved an issue where under certain circumstances some users could not access a folder in File Station even though they had the permissions and could access the folder via a network protocol.
• Addressed an issue in Notification Center where when creating or editing an alert notification rule, configuring the setting "Notify me when the number of log entries generated per minute exceeds this threshold" would cause unexpected issues.
• Resolved an issue where after creating an LDAP user with the setting "User must change the password at first logon" enabled, the LDAP user could not successfully change the password after logging in.
• Fixed an issue where under certain conditions, restarting the NAS might sometimes cause the default gateway to become disconnected.
• Fixed an issue for users in certain time zones, where the NAS would display an incorrect time after the user chose to automatically synchronize the NAS with a time server during NAS initialization.
• In Storage & Snapshots, the "Data Protection > Snapshot" page now shows the correct snapshot protection status for a storage pool even when the storage pool contains a storage space that does not support snapshots.
• Fixed an issue where creating a virtual switch after port trunking had been set up might occasionally cause the NAS to become inaccessible.

Problemas solucionados

• Se solucionó un problema para algunos usuarios donde, después de instalar ciertos módulos de memoria que no estaban en la lista de compatibilidad, la pantalla del escritorio se quedaba bloqueada en "Cargando..." después de iniciar sesión.
• Se solucionó un problema por el cual los usuarios no root no podían acceder a su carpeta de inicio en el NAS a través de SSH.
• Se resolvió un problema por el cual, en determinadas circunstancias, algunos usuarios no podían acceder a una carpeta en File Station aunque tenían los permisos y podían acceder a la carpeta a través de un protocolo de red.
• Se solucionó un problema en el Centro de notificaciones donde al crear o editar una regla de notificación de alerta, configurar la opción "Notificarme cuando la cantidad de entradas de registro generadas por minuto exceda este umbral" causaba problemas inesperados.
• Se resolvió un problema por el cual, después de crear un usuario LDAP con la configuración "El usuario debe cambiar la contraseña en el primer inicio de sesión" habilitada, el usuario LDAP no podía cambiar correctamente la contraseña después de iniciar sesión.
• Se solucionó un problema por el cual, en determinadas condiciones, reiniciar el NAS a veces podía provocar que la puerta de enlace predeterminada se desconectara.
• Se solucionó un problema para los usuarios en ciertas zonas horarias, donde el NAS mostraba una hora incorrecta después de que el usuario eligiera sincronizar automáticamente el NAS con un servidor horario durante la inicialización del NAS.
• En Almacenamiento e instantáneas, la página "Protección de datos > Instantánea" ahora muestra el estado de protección de instantáneas correcto para un grupo de almacenamiento incluso cuando el grupo de almacenamiento contiene un espacio de almacenamiento que no admite instantáneas.
• Se solucionó un problema por el cual la creación de un conmutador virtual después de haber configurado el enlace troncal del puerto podía ocasionar ocasionalmente que el NAS se volviera inaccesible.

• Se resolvió un problema por el cual, en determinadas circunstancias, el sistema registraba incorrectamente mensajes de error de unidad para un dispositivo SES en un gabinete JBOD.
