myQNAPcloud Storage is designed for individual users who need personal cloud storage. myQNAPcloud Storage Business is built for teams and organizations, offering personal storage for each user, shared team spaces for collaboration, and centralized management features for groups of three or more users.

The minimum requirement is three users, making it suitable for collaborative teams and growing organizations that need shared cloud storage and centralized management.

Each user license adds 2 TB to your organization’s shared storage pool, and your total capacity is the sum of all licenses. For example, if you need 20 TB, purchase 10 user licenses (10 x 2 TB = 20 TB pool), even if only four members actively use the service. The pool is shared across everyone’s Personal Space, the Global Space, and Shared Spaces; your admin sets each member’s Personal Space limit (500 GB by default) and manages access and permissions.

Yes. Each user has their own Personal Space for private files and can also access Global Space to collaborate with teammates and work with shared file storage.

Note: In the user interface, the Personal Space folder is named using the QNAP Account Display Name.

You can easily scale as your team expands. myQNAPcloud Storage Business offers flexible licensing and storage capacity options that can be adjusted at any time based on team size and storage needs. Additional licenses can be purchased through the Software Store.

Files belonging to departing members can be automatically transferred to an administrator account to prevent data loss or access disruptions. Administrators can then reassign the files to other members as needed.
