HDP Recovery Media Creator helps you save your computer's "recovery boot key" to a USB drive or ISO image file. If the system encounters a serious error and cannot boot, simply boot from the recovery media and use the built-in Recovery Wizard to fully restore the system.

Reminder:

Requires HDP PC Agent backup data. During restoration, the system will retrieve the latest backup from your QNAP NAS.

Select USB drive and specify destination

After launching the software, select the "USB Drive" option and specify your target USB drive from the drop-down menu.

Download Windows ADK

The system will automatically detect and download the required Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) from the official Microsoft server.

Install Windows PE

Automatically configure the Windows PE environment, which will be the core operating system foundation for the recovery media.

Confirm USB formatting

A warning message will pop up before creation to confirm that the USB will be formatted and all data will be erased. Please make sure to back up data on your USB drive first.

Creation completed

After successfully writing the image file, the software will display a guide on how to enter the BIOS and boot from the USB drive.

Launch Recovery Wizard

Insert the USB or mount the ISO, set the boot device to the recovery media in BIOS, and the computer will automatically enter the Recovery Wizard after rebooting.

Connect to NAS server

Enter the IP address of your QNAP NAS and your login credentials to establish a secure connection.

Select backup job

After successfully connecting to the server, select the corresponding backup task and a specific backup point from the list.

Specify restore point in time

With an intuitive timeline design, accurately restore to the latest or any historical backup point.

Select restore type

According to your needs, choose to perform a "full system restore" or "system volume only".

Disk Mapping

Set up the mapping relationship between the source and target disk to ensure data is accurately restored to the correct drives.

Confirm and start restore

Review all settings one last time, and after confirming there are no errors, click Restore to start the restore process.
