What’s the difference between QNAP ID (myQNAPcloud account) and NAS user account?

Answer:

QNAP ID is for logging in myQNAPcloud. You can refer to the picture below.
Anyone can register a QNAP ID even if they don’t have a QNAP NAS.
MyQNAPcloud is mostly used when remote connecting to a NAS and/or other QNAP related services.

On the other hand, NAS user account can only use for logging in NAS; please refer to the picture below.
