After the one-year free 1TB myQNAPcloud Storage cloud space expires and subscription is not renewed, you will receive a reminder email. You will be granted a 30-day grace period after the cloud space expires, during which you can safely transfer files to another storage solution.
If you do not renew the subscription within 30 days, you will receive another reminder. After that, your access to the cloud space will be limited. You will only be able to download and delete files. You will have 60 days to transfer important files to other secure storage spaces.
If you have not subscribed to a plan with enough space within 60 days, QNAP will send a final notification 48 hours before expiration. After 48 hours, when the 60-day period has ended, data will be deleted until it is less than or equal to your remaining cloud storage capacity.
After the one-year free 1TB myQNAPcloud Storage cloud space expires, you can subscribe to other plans with smaller capacity according to your needs, or upgrade to plans with the required capacity. As long as the amount of data stored does not exceed the subscription capacity, your data will not be deleted.
Each QID may have only one subscription plan and associated cloud space in a given region and the storage space cannot be divided. To attain additional capacity, you can select an upgrade plan to access a larger capacity. If you wish to subscribe to a plan with a reduced capacity, you must first cancel your existing subscription plan before resubscribing to a plan with a lower capacity.
You can have plans with different capacities in different regions. However, the capacities of different regions cannot be automatically added up, and the subscription plans of each region cannot be merged.
