Important Notes

• In QTS 5.0.1 or earlier, users can no longer create new VJBOD disks from a remote NAS if the remote NAS is running QTS 5.1.0 or later. If there are existing VJBOD disks connections to the remote NAS before it is updated to QTS 5.1.0 or later, these VJBOD disks are unaffected and remain operational after the update. In QTS 5.1.0 or later, users can still create VJBOD disks from a remote NAS running QTS 5.0.1 or earlier.

Storage & Snapshots

• Enhanced the UI for snapshot deletion to provide more information for snapshot statuses and background tasks.
• Added the new IronWolf Health Management (IHM) status "Critical Warning" for Seagate drives. The new IHM status replaces "Not Available" as a trigger event in Predictive Migration. QTS also no longer blocks a Seagate drive when the drive's warranty status cannot be obtained from Seagate servers.

Control Panel

• Users can now save their QTS login credentials in their web browser. To enhance the security of your QTS user account, we recommend enabling 2-step verification.

• QTS with newer kernel versions do not support ATTO Fibre Channel adapters. If you have already installed an ATTO Fibre Channel adapter on your device, we do not recommend updating the firmware to QTS 5.0.1 for the time being.

Notas importantes

• En QTS 5.0.1 o anterior, los usuarios ya no pueden crear nuevos discos VJBOD desde un NAS remoto si el NAS remoto ejecuta QTS 5.1.0 o posterior. Si existen conexiones de discos VJBOD al NAS remoto antes de que se actualice a QTS 5.1.0 o posterior, estos discos VJBOD no se ven afectados y permanecen operativos después de la actualización. En QTS 5.1.0 o posterior, los usuarios aún pueden crear discos VJBOD desde un NAS remoto que ejecute QTS 5.0.1 o anterior.

Mejora

Almacenamiento e instantáneas

• Se mejoró la interfaz de usuario para la eliminación de instantáneas para proporcionar más información sobre los estados de las instantáneas y las tareas en segundo plano.
• Se agregó el nuevo estado de IronWolf Health Management (IHM) "Advertencia crítica" para las unidades Seagate. El nuevo estado de IHM reemplaza a "No disponible" como evento desencadenante en la migración predictiva. QTS ya no bloquea una unidad de Seagate cuando el estado de la garantía de la unidad no se puede obtener de los servidores de Seagate.

Problemas solucionados

• Se corrigió un error tipográfico en un mensaje de error sobre conflictos de direcciones IP.

• Se solucionó un problema por el cual los usuarios podían acceder y editar arbitrariamente un archivo de configuración en la carpeta phpMyAdmin en File Station. (Nota: normalmente, los usuarios no están autorizados a editar dicho archivo de configuración).

• Se solucionó un problema de desconexión de iSCSI LUN que ocurría ocasionalmente cuando los usuarios conectaban varios servidores VMware ESXi al NAS durante mucho tiempo.
• Se solucionó un problema por el que la página de información general en myQNAPcloud mostraba información de fecha y hora incorrecta después de que los usuarios establecieran el formato de fecha y hora en DD/MM/AAAA.

• Se solucionó un problema por el que los enlaces compartidos en File Station contenían un número de puerto incorrecto si los usuarios habilitaban el servidor proxy inverso en el Panel de control.
• Se solucionó un problema por el cual los usuarios no podían mover archivos de video transcodificados de la carpeta @Transcode a una carpeta en otro volumen.
• Se solucionó un problema por el cual File Station ocasionalmente dejaba de responder cuando los usuarios abrían una carpeta.
• Se solucionó un problema por el cual File Station a veces no podía generar un enlace compartido cuando la conexión segura estaba habilitada.
• Se corrigió un problema de tiempo de espera que ocasionalmente causaba que fallara un trabajo de Réplica de instantáneas cuando el trabajo tenía una gran cantidad de datos de origen.

Problemas conocidos

• Los QTS con versiones de kernel más recientes no son compatibles con los adaptadores de Fibre Channel ATTO. Si ya instaló un adaptador ATTO Fibre Channel en su dispositivo, no recomendamos actualizar el firmware a QTS 5.0.1 por el momento.
