Security Advisory for Vulnerability in myQNAPcloud Connect

Summary

A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported to affect myQNAPcloud Connect 1.3.3.0925 and earlier versions. If successfully exploited, the vulnerability could allow attackers to crash the program.

We have already fixed this issue in the following app version.

• myQNAPcloud Connect version 1.3.4.0318 and later

Recommendation

To resolve the issue, you must update myQNAPcloud Connect to the latest version.

Upgrading myQNAPcloud Connect

1. Log on to Windows.
2. Open myQNAPcloud Connect.
3. Click .
4. Click Check for Updates.
   A confirmation message appears.
5. Click OK.
   The application is updated.
