Data protection methods	Replication: Stores multiple identical copies of data across different storage nodes to ensure availability. The maximum replication level is limited by the number of storage nodes in the cluster. Erasure coding: Splits data into data blocks (K) and parity blocks (M) and distributes them across storage nodes for fault tolerance with lower storage overhead. The total number of blocks (K + M) cannot exceed the number of storage nodes, and K must be greater than M.
