I’m not able to create a RAID group with Linux’s mdadm utility for TL-series SATA and USB JBOD enclosures. How can I fix this?

Last modified date: 2020-04-09

Linux will show virtual disks when an empty drive bay is detected in the JBOD enclosure. When you select disks for creating a RAID group, the disks you select must actually be in your JBOD enclosure. If you select virtual disks when creating a RAID group, it will fail.
