How to upgrade NAS firmware

There are multiple methods the firmware can be upgraded:
Method 1. Using QNAP Qfinder Pro to upgrade firmware by selecting the NAS > Tools > Update Firmware.
Method 2. Download the firmware from our Download Center https://www.qnap.com/en/download, unzip the compressed file to get the firmware image file. Visit QTS => Control Panel ⇒ System ⇒ Firmware Update => Select Firmware Update tab and you could click Browse button to select the unzipped firmware image file and then click Update System.
Method 3. Support will operate this method via putty. Please refer to this homepage
