Applied models

All NAS Series

Applied firmware:

All NAS firmware

Scenarios: My old NAS stopped working. I bought a new NAS exactly the same model as the original one. I have completed the migration of the disks and configuration and everything is fine. I am asked to enter a new myQNAPcloud ID when I apply myQNAPcloud settings on the new NAS. The problem is that it has some network shared directories pointed to the URL of the old device name of myQNAPcloud. So I’d like to keep the same device name.

Solution:

Please login https://www.myqnapcloud.com/ with your QID

Choose your old device from My Devices list

Click on Device Detail and then click on Unregister button to unregistered your old device

Then you can login your new NAS and register your new NAS device with the original device name.
