How to reset network & virtual switch setting via command line

To Reset network & Virtual switch settings via command line you will need to access the NAS via SSH (https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/knowledge-base/article/how-to-access-qnap-nas-by-ssh/) as “admin” and run following commands: 

# /mnt/ext/opt/netmgr/netmgr.sh reset_all_settings_to_default 

# /etc/init.d/network.sh reset_network_config_to_default 

# /etc/init.d/network.sh clean-restart 

# reboot

When the NAS reboot the Network and virtual switch will go to default

• TCP/IP configuration: Obtain IP address settings automatically via DHCP.
• TCP/IP configuration: Disable Jumbo Frame.
• TCP/IP configuration: If port trunking is enabled (dual LAN models only), the port trunking mode will be reset to “Active Backup (Failover)”.
• System port: 8080 (system service port).
• Security level: Low (Allow all connections).
• LCD panel password: (blank)*.
• VLAN will be disabled.
• Service binding: All NAS services run on all available network interfaces.
