How to reset network & virtual switch setting via command line

Applicable Products:
  • QTS 4.3.4 or older

Important: After running the procedres,the following takes place

  • Reset all Ethernet interfaces to DHCP
  • Remove any port trunking,
  • Set LAN1 as the default gateway.
  • Initialize QuFirewall setting

  1. login QTS as admin and open App Center.

  2. In App center, remove the following applications if installed.

    • Remove QuFirewall
    • Remove Linux Station
    • Remove Container Station
    • Remove Virtualization Station
  3. SSH access the NAS and run the following commands.

    # /mnt/ext/opt/netmgr/netmgr.sh reset_all_settings_to_default<br /> # /etc/init.d/network.sh reset_network_config_to_default<br /> # /etc/init.d/network.sh clean-restart<br /> # reboot
  4. After NAS reboots, login QTS as admin and open App center.

  5. Install Container Station, open Container Station and setup folder setting

  6. Install Linux Station and do the Ubuntu installation

  7. Install QuFirewall
