Fixed Issues

  • QuLog Center could not send notification messages due to incorrect configuration about severity levels.
  • Users could not access the home folder after unlocking an SED secure storage pool.
  • QuTS hero could not display correct shared folder information (such as capacity and used percentage) after unlocking an SED secure storage pool.
  • Users could not access SMB shared folders via Avid Media Composer.
  • Storage & Snapshots would stop responding when users checked the health of disks.
  • After users updated QuTS hero to h4.5.2.1638 build 20210414, file deletion would slow down the connection speeds of connected clients.
  • QuTS hero would take a long time to delete a large number of files.
  • File Station could not correctly sort file names if the system language was set to Simplified Chinese.
  • Deleting an iSCSI target would delete the list of allowed connections of other iSCSI targets.
  • The status LED on the NAS would still flash red even after iSCSI LUN usage dropped below the alert threshold.
  • QuTS hero could not resume SnapSync jobs when users disconnected both the primary and the failover adapters and then reconnected the primary adapter.
  • Qfile users could not acquire the correct LAN IP address of the NAS when accessing the NAS via DDNS.

  • Users sometimes could not disable permission inheritance in Windows ACL settings for a mounted NAS shared folder.
  • Control Panel would erroneously display the status of System Port Management as "Disabled" in System Status > System Service.
  • Users could not copy files to a WORM (write once, read many) shared folder.
  • Users could not access an SMB shared folder if they were granted access permissions but their user groups were not.
  • Users could not write to a subfolder even with read/write permissions if they were denied permissions to the parent folder.
  • File Station would show a locked encrypted shared folder as non-existent.
  • After migrating a disk to another NAS, users could not unlock an encrypted shared folder on the disk.
  • Fixed a minor security issue.
  • Users could not bring a storage pool online if QSAL (QNAP SSD Antiwear Leveling) was enabled on this storage pool.
