How to download Diagnostic Logs from Helpdesk?

Scenario

QNAP Tech Support may request diagnostic logs from your NAS, which contain useful information that can help us identify root causes and troubleshoot issues for your device. You can download diagnostic logs from Helpdesk.


Procedure

  1. Log in to QTS as administrator.
  2. Open Helpdesk.
    Tip
    If you cannot locate Helpdesk on your NAS desktop, go to the App Center.
  3. Ensure that your Helpdesk version is 3.0.0 or later. If not, update the app to the latest version.

     
  4. In Helpdesk, go to Diagnostic Tool on the menu, then click Download Logs.
  5. Click Download.

The log file will be downloaded as a ZIP file to your computer.
