Why does not the QVR Face recognize a face unless if he closes to be in front of camera?

The facial image in front of the camera must have a minimum of 120x120 pixels. The background can’t be over explored or black, 450-550 lux is better. Moreover, the QVR Face allows up to 20 degrees tilted from the horizontal axis or the vertical axis for the facial angle.
