Syncing EML files with Qsync creates many conflicted files that cannot be deleted. How can I fix this issue?

The way Microsoft Windows handles EML files can cause problems with synchronization software such as Qsync. To fix this issue, on the Windows client:

Delete the following two registry entries.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PropertySystem\PropertyHandlers\.eml]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PropertySystem\PropertyHandlers\.eml]\CurrentVersion\PropertySystem\PropertyHandlers\.eml]
Go to “Control Panel” > “Indexing Options” > “Advanced” > “File Types” and unselect the “eml” extension.
Restart Windows.
