Details

If your IP camera is listed as compatible, and passed the test when adding IP cameras, but still receives error messages or does not work as expected when using QVR Pro Client, you should check the following:

Note

The camera test only verifies basic camera information (such as IP, ports, username, and password) and may not determine if the username has sufficient permissions, or the correctness of the selected model.

  • The IP camera model is the same as the selected model in QVR Pro's setting page. Choose a correct model or use Generic ONVIF/RTSP/RTMP protocol instead.
  • Ensure that the username and password of the IP camera is correct, as it may have been changed.
  • The username in the IP camera should have sufficient privileges to control the PTZ of the camera. Change the account permission in the IP camera to root or admin and try again.
  • Check if the IP camera has been assigned to a new IP address by the DHCP server.
