How do I prepare the NAS to perform initial setup?

After unpacking the NAS, follow the steps below to install your QNAP NAS:
- Connect the QNAP NAS to the same network as your PC .
- Turn on the NAS without inserting the hard drives.
- Use Qfinder Pro to locate the NAS and open it in your browser.
- Insert the hard drives into the NAS. Before doing so, ensure the hard drives (HDDs) that you use are compatible with the NAS. Go to the QNAP compatibility list for more details.
- Click “Start Smart Installation Guide” .
- Apply the settings and wait for the completion of the NAS initial setup.
- Click "Go to NAS Management" to enter the QTS web interface.
