QHora-301W/QMiro-201W 2.0.6.001 build 20220210

2022-02-17

New Features

  • USB packet capture: You can now capture and transfer network traffic packets from the router to any connected USB device for data analysis.
  • We have added a diagnostic tool feature that supports ping and traceroute functions to troubleshoot network access problems.
  • Ping uses Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) echo messages to determine host status, round-trip delay, and packet loss.
  • Traceroute identifies the path that packets take to reach their destination.
  • Users can now reconnect the PPPoE connection after a session has been terminated using the "Reconnect" button.
  • We have added support for the following: NordVPN for QVPN clients using OpenVPN, WireGuard protocol in QVPN Settings

Enhancements

  • We have improved the user interface of the QVPN Settings and QVPN User Management page in the QVPN Servers section.
  • We have enhanced the performance of the QuWAN VPN tunnel connections.
  • Optimized the QMiro-201W and QMiroPlus-201W mesh network performance.

Fixed Issues

  • We have resolved an issue where if a device is blocked using QuRouter, other devices in the same VLAN subnet were still able to ping and get a response from the blocked device.
  • Previously, when a router is configured as an Access Point (AP), QuRouter would occasionally display a network error message. We have resolved this issue.
  • We have resolved an issue where users could not change the IKE and IPSec service port numbers to 500 and 4500 respectively after configuring the router as a QuWAN device.
  • After changing the device name in QuRouter, myQNAPcloud would display the old device name. We have fixed this issue.
  • After configuring the initial QuRouter settings, the QVPN Settings page would occasionally display a network error message.
  • We have resolved a couple of issues in the port forwarding section where QuRouter would not allow the "Allow Remote IPs" field to be blank, and the port forwarding rule could not be applied occasionally.
  • After updating the firmware, QuRouter would display an incorrect message asking users if they want to exit the page without applying changes. With this update, this bug is fixed.
  • Resolved an issue where QuRouter would display only one DNS IP address after acquiring two IP addresses from two DNS servers.
  • We have fixed an issue where QuRouter would display the UI strings incompletely.
  • QHora-301W
  • Previously, when an Android or iOS mobile device is connected to the router's VPN using L2TP protocol, users could not access the internet and devices in the router's LAN subnet. We have resolved this issue.
  • QMiro-201W and QMiroPlus-201W
  • After configuring a mesh network using a LAN DHCP subnet, the connected nodes could not obtain renewed IP addresses. This would cause the nodes to disconnect from the primary router.
