Container Station

Scenario

After installing Container Station, my NAS (management IP 10.0.5.33) triggered an IP conflict on our corporate LAN. How to solve it?

Solution

Your NAS is on the corporate subnet 10.0.5.0/24 (NAS management IP 10.0.5.33). After you install Container Station, it creates a default container ’s default container subnets (often 10.0.3.0/24, 10.0.5.0/24, 10.0.7.0/24). So an IP conflict appeared.

To solve it, change the Container Station bridge subnet to a non-overlapping range (e.g., 172.31.200.0/24) in Container Station → Preferences → Network Settings, apply, restart Container Station.
