Terms and conditions

  1. Each QNAP ID can only be applied once.

  2. myQNAPcloud Storage will only accept applications from a maximum of 100 QNAP ID users each day. If your application is not accepted, an error message will appear on the screen. Please note that you will have to apply the next day or later.

  3. Once the region is selected and submitted, it cannot be changed to another region. You must make sure that your selection here is the same as your myQNAPcloud Storage region.

  4. If registration fails, please contact QNAP Marketing (marketing@qnap.com) and attach supporting documents.

FAQ

Yes. The system behavior changes depending on your situation.

  1. If you’ve never stored any data on the original cloud space
    Once a backup job on Hybrid Backup Sync starts, the myQNAPcloud Storage automatically detects it and creates cloud space based on your application. You will see a single space on it (in this case, Tokyo region).
  2. If you’ve stored data on the original cloud space
    You will see two cloud spaces in Tokyo and Osaka regions on the myQNAPcloud Storage > [My Space].

QNAP recommends that users choose the closest region to reduce network latency for optimized backup performance.

Please go to myQNAPcloud Storage > [My Space].

It may take some time (up to 48 hours) since the system must check if the data has been uploaded successfully. This campaign will only accept applications from a maximum of 100 QNAP ID users each day. If your application is not accepted, an error message will appear on the screen. Please note that you will have to apply the next day or later (Submit the application form AND complete backup from Hybrid Backup Sync to myQNAPcloud Storage).

You can check the status with the pop-up message after submitting the form again.

  1. Succeeded (when submitting the form first time)
    You've successfully submit the form. QNAP automatically adds 100 GB storage to your spaces after you backing up your NAS data.
  2. Succeeded (but you have not backed up data, or before the system check if the data has been uploaded successfully)
    This QNAP ID has already been successfully registered for this campaign. You need to back up your NAS data using Hybrid Backup Sync then get an additional 100 GB. (The system will add cloud space within 48 hours after backup job is done using Hybrid Backup Sync).
  3. Succeeded (when 100GB has already been added)
    Your QNAP ID has already been successfully registered for this campaign. 100 GB has already been added. Please check your myQNAPcloud Storage.
  4. Failed
    This campaign has already received applications from a daily limit of 100 QNAP ID users. Please apply again the next day or later.
