How can I check whether my iSCSI LUN is working?

Answer:

You may mount the LUN as a virtual disk by Remote Disk under Control Panel > Storage & Snapshots > Storage first to confirm iSCSI works. However, please note that the virtual disk function only supports the following file systems: EXT3, EXT4, FAT 32, NTFS, and HFS+. If the LUN was formated by VMware EXSI with VMFS format,this method will not work.
