QES 2.0.0 build 20190131
2019-02-13
Compatibility
- ES1640dc/ES1640dc v2
Fixed Issues
- The size of shared folders appeared to be different in QES and on Windows clients.
- Packets counter information was not received after querying a port trunking interface using SNMP.
- A storage controller takeover would sometimes timeout due to a slow pool import.
- When migrating system drives to another NAS with a different firmware version, the Migrate Setup button did not appear on the Quick Setup page.
- Windows users could not access a NAS shared folder if the shared folder permissions were configured in File Station.
- Removed information about retention time and automatic file cleanup from the Network Recycle Bin page in Help Center.
- It was possible to mount multiple shared folders to the same path.
- Too many log messages were created when running a NAS to NAS backup job if the destination shared folder had WORM enabled.
- It was sometimes not possible to update QES to a later version using the QES web UI.
- The NAS could not join an active directory domain if the AD administrator password contained special characters.
Enhancements
- When enabling deduplication, QES now gives a warning when this feature might affect system performance.
- You can now set a performance profile of "VMware" when creating a shared folder to increase VMware performance.
- Added support for QNAP QDA-SA SAS-to-SATA adapter.
