Is Chromecast supported? How to set it up/use it?

Yes, casting to Chromecast from multimedia apps on the QNAP NAS is supported.

Make sure the Media Streaming Add-on is installed. If you don’t have it installed yet, you may download it from the App Center.
After it is installed, you can start to stream your multimedia content to Chromecast devices.
Simply open File, Photo, Music or the Video Station apps, select the file(s) you would like to stream and hit the cast button in the top right corner of the window as shown in the picture below.
