myQNAPcloud SSL Certificate Update: Please Update the SSL Certificate App to 2.2.80
Taipei, Taiwan, November 4, 2026 – QNAP® Systems, Inc., a leading innovator in storage, networking, and data protection solutions, today reminded myQNAPcloud SSL certificate users to update the SSL Certificate app to version 2.2.80. To comply with CA/Browser Forum certificate standards, the certificate authority TWCA activated a new certificate chain on November 1, 2026, and will revoke its previous intermediate certificates on November 5, 2026 at 16:00 UTC. After that time, myQNAPcloud SSL certificates issued under the previous intermediate certificates will no longer be trusted.
On November 3, 2026, QNAP released SSL Certificate 2.2.80 to complete the certificate replacement for you automatically.
Who this applies to
This notice applies to users who purchased myQNAPcloud SSL certificates (xxxx.myqnapcloud.com / xxxx.mycloudnas.com) through QNAP.
