    DHCPv6

DHCPv6 requires the router to acquire an IPv6 address and DNS settings automatically from the upstream DHCPv6 server provided by the ISP. This method is generally applicable for most deployments, particularly when the device operates behind a modem and the ISP dictates the IPv6 connection type.
The implemented DHCPv6 mechanism seamlessly integrates with prevalent protocols like SLAAC. In scenarios where a static IPv6 address is not mandatory, DHCPv6 is the recommended approach for automatic IPv6 configuration.

    Static IP

Manually assign a static IP address to the adapter. You must specify the following information:

    • Fixed IP Address
    • Prefix length
      Note
Obtain the prefix length information from your network administrator.
    • Default gateway
    • Primary and secondary DNS servers
  9. Click Apply.

QuRouter applies the IPv6 settings on the interface.
