QNAP have once again produced a stunningly well built NAS system which offers a mind blowing amount of configuration options for both personal and business use. The new V3 firmware software installation is a vast improvement over the previous system and is more responsive, more attractive and offers a wealth of options most people will never need to touch. The capable processor and high level of memory onboard as well as a 80 plus PSU offer the foundation for one of the most capable and reliable NAS systems available today on the market.

Previously, the Taiwan QNAP's name never came to mind in the first if it were a network storage devices. Now it has changed. The TS-639 Pro NAS is intended for those small and medium size enterprises, which claim that the network doesn't reach the level of rack mount products, but it has already been beyound the SOHO products.It can take six SATA HDD in and these can be changed during the working process (hot sap). Also every RAID configuration can be deployed, and now we support RAID 0/ 1/ 5/ 6/ 5+Spare, JBOD..

QNAP has a veritable cornucopia and can cover any needs. Not only at home but also in a larger office or medium-sized enterprise. It's the performer in fantastic price. In the category of the best Performance Per Watt, QNAP is an undisputed king in the market. If you do not need so much, or afford to invest so much money into a NAS, it has also QNAP TS-239 Pro and 439 Pro, which takes 2 and 4 discs. Concerning features and performance into consideration, so there is no equivalent in the market. ReadyNAS, Synology and other manufacturers of small NAS units were the best of my opinion, but not up to QNAP TS-639 in Pro's league. It will have a very warm recommendation from here.

QNAP TS-639 Pro Turbo Station NAS Server offers excellent performance as a server along with a host of features on top of the usual ease of use and flexibility. Anybody with rudimentary knowledge of the network can set it up and maintain it - lowering the cost of maintenance as well as the skills required to run it. With the ability to support two separate networks and grow in space when required (without having to be turned off!) the NAS offers plenty of savings and flexibility over a normal server.These features make the NAS perfect for a mid scale organization on the verge of expanding or a large scale organization seeking to replace or upgrade an old server system.
