How do I get app password of my Yahoo account for setting up SMTP service in Notification Center?

Note:This tutorial also fixes the warning Authorization has expired. Reauthorize the Account using Yahoo account as SMTP service.

Follow the procedures below to generate app password and set up Yahoo SMTP service in Notification Center.

  1. Generate App password on Yahoo! Mail

    1. login mail.yahoo.com
    2. Click on your avatar and select Account info
    3. Click on Account Security
    4. find Account Access > Other ways to sign in > App Password > Generate app password

    1. Enter Notification Center as App name and click on Generate password
    1. Note your one-time app password

  2. Set up Yahoo account in Notification Center

    1. Login QTS as administrators
    1. Open Notification Center
    1. Select Yahoo as SMTP service in Service Account and Device Pairing.
    1. Fill in Yahoo email address and App password.
