How do I troubleshoot firmware update issues on a QHora router?

Recommendation

Restart the router.
1. Make sure the router is connected to the network.
2. Reboot the router.
3. Log in to QuRouter.
4. Go to System > System Settings > Restart/Reset/Backup/Restore.
5. Click Restart.
6. Update the firmware.
Check if the firewall is blocking the download servers.
Note
Make sure that the firewall is not blocking the router from accessing the QNAP download servers (update.qnap.com, download.qnap.com). Add the download servers to the firewall’s allow list, and then update the firmware.
Manually install the firmware from QNAP Download Center.
