Security Updates
- Applied multiple security updates to further enhance system security.
New Features
Control Panel
- When performing a firmware update, you can now choose to automatically install required app updates, ensuring a smooth app experience after the firmware update is complete.
Enhancement
Control Panel
- Administrators can now back up and restore system settings between QTS and QuTScloud, and between QuTS hero and QuTScloud hero.
- Added a setting in "Control Panel > System > Hardware > General" that allows users to enable or disable the IR sensor on supported NAS models, helping reduce unexpected system restarts that the IR sensor may cause.
Desktop & Login
- After an administrator enforces 2-step verification (2SV) without configuring SMTP service or signing in to myQNAPcloud, users can still log in and complete 2SV setup. (Previously, users were locked out.)
Storage Manager
- Added links in the Storage Manager sidebar for opening Snapshot Manager and iSCSI & Fibre Channel, allowing users to quickly access these related applications to manage snapshots and LUNs.
Fixed Issues
- Resolved an issue where opening Storage Manager changed the formatting of certain desktop text.
- Improved user experience and consistency across multiple management pages when applying configuration changes.
- Enhanced the firmware update experience when initiating the update shortly after a system restart.
- Fixed some French UI issues in Storage Manager.
- Fixed an issue where the system incorrectly reported a permission error when a user tried to log in with the wrong password during an HA split-brain condition.
- Improved an error message when reverting a shared folder from a snapshot under certain conditions, now providing user guidance.
- Improved the UI layout in "Storage Manager > Disks > Disk" so that users can view more disks at once without needing to scroll.
