The TS-219P being offered from QNAP is one such option and as you've seen it has many features to offer in addition to its storage capability. The TS-219P can house two drives for a total capacity of up to 4TB. After using the review unit for a couple of weeks now I have seen nothing but stability from it. It runs silently and uses very little power. Adding to that all of the other features that QNAP has designed into their units accessible via a nice looking, easy to use interface, the TS-219P offering is a very good product. Its size and looks allow it to fit into almost any setting and QNAP has suggested a reasonable price. All in all, if this unit fits your needs I don't think you will have any regrets. The TS-219P is very fast on read and write speeds, makes it suitable as a NAS to multiple clients simultaneously, including as storage space for space-hungry HDTV broadcasts. The QNAP TS-219P is a device that is able to interface with the LAN network to offer the best for an efficient network. It looks great and simply to use. The materials are amazing and the metal parts give it a robust and secure feeling. On the front side we can see 4 led indicators that indicate which unit we are using. The hot-swap design allows to install up to 2 SATA 3,5" hard disk (one of every bay). The TS-219P include the NetBakReplicator software that allows to make backups of a Windows system on a specific folder on the NAS in a simply way, useful also for not expert users. We have only positive things to say about the TS-219P. The final verdict is extremely positive: reliability, robustness, a easy-to-use management interface and an affordable price.

QNAP is a young company in an established field of NAS devices. Even though the company is only 5 years old, I found the TS-219P build quality to be excellent and feature set to be extensive. Hardware-wise, I find the QNAP TS-219P to have excellent build quality. Horsepower-wise, it is adequate for what it is intended to do. Software-wise, there is excellent feature set to be had Media-wise, I consider the TS-219P a mixed bag. The TS-219P is a storage device that is trying to add a new feature set: a multimedia feature set.

The TS-219P brings a storage mini server for SOHO and SMB that includes the support of RAID technology (you can install up to 2 SATA HDD in a very easy way), an appealing multimedia station, an iTunes Server, a Surveillance Station for IP Cameras and a Download Station among other features. The QNAP NAS propose a web interface very attractive and intuitive to manage remotely the device with multpiple administration options. It is a very powerful device tha works with a 1.2 GHz (Marvell) processor, a memory of 512 MB RAM DDR2 which help to obtain better transfer rates and to support multiple applications without losing performance. Beside the design of the equipment is fantastic. Data storage is becoming more and more delicate task to do. In one hand because of the bigger amounts of daily data and in the second because of the data lastingness required by the government. Qnap is producing quality NAS systems for quite a long time.QNAP TS-509 Pro already got a golden award in our IT magazine when we tested all NAS servers. Now we are reviewing TS-439 Pro and TS-219P. At TS-439 we like two ethernet interfaces, data transfer is fast, but the booting time is long almost 4 minutes. The truth is we don't usualy need to reboot it often. Even when all four disks are fully operating together with the ventilator, the noise is not too big. TS-219P is made mostly for home use, but it still supports iSCSI. The transfer speeds are almost the same as at TS-439 Pro. They are both using the same user interface and we like the additional options and expansions.

It operates silently, user interface is kind, beautiful and clear and it offers a lot of functions. Download station, Multimedia station and Web File Manager are only some of many functions. Since the web server supports PHP and MySql, you can use it also as fully functional web server, there is Joomla! preinstalled. QNAP is a young company in an established field of NAS devices. Even though the company is only 5 years old, I found the TS-219P build quality to be excellent and feature set to be extensive. Hardware-wise, I find the QNAP TS-219P to have excellent build quality. Horsepower-wise, it is adequate for what it is intended to do. Software-wise, there is excellent feature set to be had Media-wise, I consider the TS-219P a mixed bag. The TS-219P is a storage device that is trying to add a new feature set: a multimedia feature set.

Perfect for small office and home office users, the QNAP TS-219P is a serious piece of equipment, and is not just another NAS. The feature set is excellent, from the simple BitTorrent downloading that is often hard on other devices, to iSCSI support, the iTunes shared library, and USB print-server capabilities. We also liked that the power consumption and noise levels were quite good for a dual- 顆硬碟 NAS.

The QNAP NAS propose a web interface very attractive and intuitive to manage remotely the device with multpiple administration options. It is a very powerful device tha works with a 1.2 GHz (Marvell) processor, a memory of 512 MB RAM DDR2 which help to obtain better transfer rates and to support multiple applications without losing performance. Beside the design of the equipment is fantastic. The device works quite well with any OS like Windows, Linux and Mac, and it performs as a secure storage device, trustable, easy to handle and useful for all of those users that look a mini server that solves its storage problems in home and the office.

QNAP is one of the oldest NAS producers and this time we tested TS-219P model, designed for Home-Soho users. It's quality made device, which offers higher transfer speeds. It operates silently, user interface is kind, beautiful and clear and it offers a lot of functions. Download station, Multimedia station and Web File Manager are only some of many functions. Since the web server supports PHP and MySql, you can use it also as fully functional web server, there is Joomla! preinstalled.
