If you attempt to move a file into a WORM (Write-Once-Read-Many) folder, a confirmation dialog will appear to ensure that you don't accidentally lock the files. Files and their versions uploaded within the retention period will be protected and locked until the retention time ends. If the upload times of file versions are not within the retention period, they will not be protected or locked.

Similarly, if you attempt to copy a file into a WORM folder, a confirmation dialog will appear, informing you that any files copied to the WORM folder will be locked and setting today as their creation date. User access to these files will be restricted until the retention time ends.
