Important Notes

• QuTS hero does not support downgrading from h5.1.x to h5.0.1 or earlier. Downgrading firmware can be risky. Please make sure you fully understand and accept the risks if you decide to downgrade your firmware.
• This version is released in a staged rollout, which means we initially release this version to a small portion of users and then gradually reach more users over time.

Storage & Snapshots

• Implemented support for "Space Low" status to effectively manage storage pools nearing capacity limits. Additionally, introduced the "Increase Pool Free Space" function to streamline capacity-saving methodologies within the pool.

iSCSI & Fibre Channel

• Users can now import LUNs exported from QTS. (Previously, users could only import a LUN if the source and destination NAS devices ran the same operating system.)

• Resolved an issue where a reverse proxy rule would fail if the user specified an asterisk (*) for the source.

• Fixed an issue where a power schedule configured to run only once would end up running once every year.
• Fixed an issue where after configuring the NAS as a domain controller, restarting the NAS could change the DNS interface settings, causing users to become unable to connect to the NAS.
• Fixed an issue where under certain rare conditions, disabling or deleting user accounts could cause unexpected changes to the user group configuration file.
• Resolved an issue in Control Panel > Network & File Services > Network Access > Reverse Proxy, where if two rules were configured with the same source, after disabling one of the rules, users could not enable the rule again unless the other rule was also disabled.
• Fixed an issue where connecting to a domain name that had been configured as the source of a reverse proxy rule would unexpectedly redirect to the NAS login page, even though users had not yet mapped the domain name.
• Resolved an issue where after removing Multimedia Console from App Center, the system still displayed the "Multimedia Services" status as "Enabled" in System Status > System Service.
• Fixed a French translation issue in Control Panel > Privilege > Users.
• Fixed an issue where after enabling passwordless login, and then logging in with "Keep me logged in" selected, the "Keep me logged in" function would fail to activate and the user would have to log in again the next time.
• In File Station, the advanced folder permission setting "Only admin can create files and folders" has been corrected and revised to "Only users in the administrators group can read/write the files and folders", matching the same setting available in Control Panel.
• Fixed a File Station issue where if a scroll bar appears due to a large number of files in the folder, Windows users could not use CTRL + left-click to select the files that require scrolling to view.
• In File Station, a share link's DDNS URL now correctly uses the domain name instead of the IP address if a DDNS service has been configured.
• Addressed an issue where if the myQNAPcloud app was open, users could not open Microsoft Office files using the "Edit with Office Online" or "View in Google Docs" function in File Station.
• Resolved an issue in HBS where running a sync job from a QTS NAS to a QuTS hero NAS could sometimes cause the QuTS hero NAS to run out of memory if the job setting "Replicate ACL and extended attributes" was enabled.

• Fixed an issue where after safely detaching a storage pool consisting of only M.2 SSDs and then reinitializing the NAS, some users could not successfully import the pool back onto the NAS.
• Users can now successfully reattach a storage pool even when it contains folders with certain special characters in their names.
• Fixed an issue where after a disk failed and was replaced with a healthy disk, Storage & Snapshots would incorrectly label the healthy disk as unsuitable for rebuilding the RAID group when it was another disk in the RAID group that was faulty.
• Resolved an issue on the TVS-1282T3 where users could not connect to the NAS via two of its Thunderbolt ports after a firmware update.

• QuTS hero は、 h5.1.x から h5.0.1 以前へのダウングレードをサポートしていません。ファームウェアのダウングレードにはリスクが伴う場合があります。ファームウェアをダウングレードする場合は、リスクを十分に理解し、受け入れてください。

修正済みの問題

• ユーザーがソースにアスタリスク (*) を指定した場合にリバース プロキシ ルールが失敗する問題を解決しました。
• NAS がドメイン コントローラーとして構成されている場合の NAS ログイン速度が向上しました。
• 1 回だけ実行するように設定された電源スケジュールが、毎年 1 回実行される問題を修正しました。
• NAS をドメイン コントローラーとして設定した後、NAS を再起動すると DNS インターフェイス設定が変更され、ユーザーが NAS に接続できなくなる問題を修正しました。
• 特定のまれな状況下で、ユーザー アカウントを無効化または削除すると、ユーザー グループ構成ファイルに予期しない変更が生じる可能性がある問題を修正しました。
• コントロールパネル>ネットワークとファイルサービス> ネットワーク アクセス > リバース プロキシで、同じソースで 2 つのルールが設定されている場合、いずれかのルールを無効にした後、もう一方のルールも無効にしない限り、ユーザーはそのルールを再度有効にできないという問題を解決しました。

• App Center からMultimedia Consoleを削除した後も、システム ステータス > システム サービスで「マルチメディア サービス」のステータスが「有効」と表示される問題を解決しました。
• コントロールパネル> 権限 > ユーザーにおけるフランス語の翻訳の問題を修正しました。
