How do I copy the files from a PC/Mac/another brand of NAS to QNAP?

If you want to copy the files from a PC/Mac/different brand of NAS to QNAP NAS, follow the procedures below to proceed
Set up an FTP server on non-QNAP side
- If you have a Windows PC, you may setup Filezilla server
- If you have a Mac, you may setup built-in FTP service.
- If you have another Brand of NAS, please refer to the User Manual.
Check the FTP server connectivity and FTP user permission from another PC/Mac
Login QTS as an administrator, and open Hybrid backup Sync
- Find Sync > Active Sync
- Select Remote FTP Server as Desitination Storage Space
- Fill in FTP server information
- Browse the source folder on FTP server and destination folder on the NAS.
- Finish the setup wizard
- Sync now
