Can I Migrate my Disks from QTS to QuTS Hero?

Due to differences in file systems between QTS and QuTS hero, it is not possible to migrate drives from a QTS-based NAS to a QuTS hero-based NAS. Before moving the drives to a new NAS, you’ll need to back up all data on a different storage media before formatting the drives.

Alternatively, you can install new drives and copy the data from the old drives. It’s possible to use HBS3 to migrate data and folder permissions between QTS & QuTS hero. For more information, see here.
