TL-R1200C-RP (USB)
Rackmount USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C high-capacity JBOD storage enclosure with redundant power

With twelve 3.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s drive bays and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Type-C connectivity, the TL-R1200C-RP JBOD storage enclosure provides huge storage potential for home and business users to back up and expand their Windows®, or Ubuntu® computers.
Notes:
1. The TL-R1200C-RP does not support cross-platform file sharing after a RAID level is configured.
2. The TL-R1200C-RP only supports USB 3.2 Gen1 (or later). USB 2.0 is not supported.
3. To connect TL-R1200C-RP to PC/Server, QNAP recommends to purchase the QXP-10G2U3A expansion card and install it on PC/Server.
4. QNAP strongly recommends following standard procedures for attaching/removing USB devices to Windows®, or Ubuntu® computers.

Supports common RAID levels
Different RAID types can be configured in the TL-R1200C-RP to suit personal or business needs. RAID 1/5 can be built in your Windows® computers; RAID 1/4/5/6/10 can be built in your Ubuntu® computers.
● Windows 8 (or later) users can set up software RAID groups in “Control Panel” > “Storage Spaces”, and up to 63 TB of the maximum single volume is supported in Windows operating system.
● Windows Server 2012 R2 (or later) users can set up software RAID groups in “Server Manager”.
Note:
1. If USB port endpoint usage is excessive, drives on the TL-R1200C-RP may not be recognized. See the following for more information: https://www.usb.org/sites/default/files/documents/usb_debug_class_rev_1_0_final_0.pdf.
2. Before removing a storage pool, you must ensure you have removed all volumes and LUNs on that storage pool.
3. Do not connect the TL USB JBOD to your computer using a USB hub.
Use the TL-R1200C-RP as a high-capacity drive reader
Instead of setting a RAID level, single-disk mode allows each drive installed in the TL-R1200C-RP to be used as a removable individual storage space. By using single-disk mode, the TL-R1200C-RP is transformed into a high-capacity drive reader, making it especially useful for data archiving and migration*.
*The target device must support the drive’s file systemFor example, NTFS (for Windows), EXT4 (for Ubuntu or QNAP NAS), exFAT (for Windows, Ubuntu, and QNAP NAS) etc.
JBOD migration speeds up remote file transfer
Migrating a large number of small files or a single large data file by network environment can be time-consuming and consume significant network bandwidth that causes decreased work efficiency. The TL-R1200C-RP supports remote file transfer. All you have to do is set up the RAID configuration and store a large number of files. Then you can move the TL-R1200C-RP to another place and connect it with the computer or NAS to experience the device’s simple plug and play feature and fast data migration.
Note: If you have set up the software RAID configuration, TL-R1200C-RP migration only supports hosts running on the same operating system.
Rock-solid and heat dissipation design
With a compact metal body and smart cooling, the TL-R1200C-RP provides stable and reliable operations even when every drive is under full load.

Extend hardware warranty up to 5 years with intensive burn-in test
The TL-R1200C-RP went through intensive burn-in test to ensure system stability, and it’s backed by a 3-year warranty at no additional costs. You can purchase a warranty extension that extends your warranty coverage up to 5 years.
