• Added support for NFS over RDMA. When used with supported 100G NICs (such as Mellanox ConnectX-6 or QXG-100G2SF-BCM), NFS over RDMA helps reduce I/O latency and CPU usage while improving data transfer performance.
• When performing a firmware update, you can now choose to automatically install required app updates, ensuring a smooth app experience after the firmware update is complete.

Enhancement

• Optimized the user interface for configuring interfaces, virtual switches, VLAN, WiFi, and IPv4 and IPv6 settings. The IPv4 and IPv6 configuration pages now include DNS settings.
• When configuring the IPv6 connection type with "Auto-Configuration (Stateless)", users can now select "Generate a SLAAC address with a secret key" for a more secure way to generate the IPv6 address.
• Enhanced the App Center user interface by adding a new "Pending Actions" section to help users identify apps that require additional setup before use.
• A new option, "Accelerate copying large number of small files", is now available when the kernel-mode SMB daemon is enabled. This feature improves performance when handling large numbers of small files.
• Added a new DNS interface configuration option, allowing users to manually select which network interfaces a domain controller's DNS service should listen on.
• Simplified the setup process for Azure Single Sign-on (SSO) and updated the feature name to "Microsoft Entra ID Single Sign-on (SSO)".
• Adjusted the default settings for NFS host access to enhance the security of NFS exports.
• Added a setting in "Control Panel > System > Hardware > General" that allows users to enable or disable the IR sensor on supported NAS models, helping reduce unexpected system restarts that the IR sensor may cause.
• After an administrator enforces 2-step verification (2SV) without configuring SMTP service or signing in to myQNAPcloud, users can still log in and complete 2SV setup. (Previously, users were locked out.)
• Administrators can now back up and restore system settings between QTS and QuTScloud.

Fixed Issues

• Fixed a rare issue where, after increasing the capacity of a virtual disk used by a storage pool, the pool might fail to detect and utilize the newly expanded space.
• Fixed an issue where QuTScloud would not automatically expand an existing storage pool after users added extra storage space for the virtual disk used by the pool.
