QNAP Cloud Management Platform for Multiple NAS & Devices

The AMIZcloud management platform is ideal for enterprises, organizations, and MSPs (Managed Service Provider) based in multiple locations or with a large number of devices. It allows multiple administrators to collaboratively manage multiple NAS, switches, and other networked devices.

AMIZcloud Management Platform for NAS

Remotely control multiple NAS and update firmware

From QTS 5.1.0 / QuTS hero h5.1.0, IT staff can centrally monitor and manage multiple NAS that are located around the world via AMIZcloud single platform, suitable for MNC or multi-site businesses.

Why do you need a cloud-based central management solution?

Centrally managing NAS used to require a host NAS server that would connect with other managed NAS clients for central monitoring and management. QNAP now introduces a central NAS management solution integrating cloud management and organization-based management. QNAP’s AMIZcloud and Organization Center allows IT administrators to easily control multiple NAS in different organizations anytime and anywhere.

Simple, cost-effective, real-time management of multi-site devices

  • Easy

Traditional CMS solution requires at least one main host as a CMS server. The AMIZcloud platform requires no setup of any management server—simply log in to the cloud platform. This greatly reduces the complexity of multi-device management.

  • Low cost

Other CMS platforms require configuring a CMS server and paying for software/services. There is no need to purchase additional licenses, and AMIZcloud allows centralized management of large-scale NAS at reduced costs, significantly saving on TCO.

  • Real-time capability

AMIZcloud allows for immediate and flexible management. For example, a chain of 24/7 supermarkets may need to remotely restart a device late at night, or an MSP may need to install or remove software for clients at any time, and cross-national offices can view remote backup tasks without time delay.

Get started with a QNAP Account

Register a QNAP Account to enable QNAP cloud services. Create your own QNAP Account (QID) at QNAP Account Center and bind with your NAS to enjoy the cloud services of myQNAPcloud, Organization Center, and AMIZcloud. Whether it's a single or multiple account management, you can centrally manage all devices through AMIZcloud. Use the Organization Center to create organization-based multi-account management, for single-account management, bind all NAS devices to a single QID.

  • Step 1. Create an Organization

To allow multi-account management of devices, create organizations, sites, and user groups in the Organization Center. Then invite users to join the organization and set their permissions. If all devices are bound to a single administrator, you can directly bind devices.

  • Step 2. Bind your device

Bind the NAS device to an organization and site through the myQNAPcloud App.

  • Step 3. Manage all devices

Once bound, you can centrally manage all the devices in AMIZcloud.

Monitor all your NAS and backup jobs in real-time via Dashboard

AMIZcloud provides an at-a-glance Dashboard for administrators to grasp the overall status of managed devices. You can check NAS health, resource usage (CPU, memory, storage pool, disks), logs and the status of all NAS backup jobs. Devices and their conditions are shown in different colors for quick reading.

Manage NAS and install apps anywhere

Update NAS firmware

Update the latest NAS firmware to ensure security.

Remote restart/ shutdown

Remotely restart or shut down when your NAS is abnormal or simply remove the NAS.

Remote Management NAS Verification Mechanism

When performing important functions such as remote restarting, shutting down, or updating firmware on NAS, IT administrators must re-enter their QID password. This verification mechanism effectively ensures the security of remote device management.

Metric alerts

Create your own metric alert policy (including when CPU utilization is over 60% for 5 minutes), and send emails to notify the IT staff.

Install NAS Apps remotely

View all the installed apps and batch install, update, start, and stop apps. Get informed if apps fail to run due to invalid authentication or signature errors.

Overview cyber risks

Batch install the Security Counselor app on NAS and view the security status of all the managed NAS on AMIZcloud. The risk level of each NAS is displayed in different colors for quick reading, boosting the efficiency of taking further security protection actions.
