New Features

  • Unified SMB and NFS shared folder creation: On the "File Services" page, administrators can now create shared folders that allow simultaneous access via both SMB and NFS.
  • NFS v4.0 client support: Enhances compatibility with modern Linux and enterprise application environments.
  • Domain server integration for file services: Provides centralized authentication and authorization for easier access management.
  • Object services support versioning and Object Lock: Meets data immutability, compliance, and long-term data protection requirements.
  • S3-compatible encryption validation: Enhances encryption reliability.
  • Online rolling updates: Supports automatic download and validation, improving reliability while minimizing service disruption.
  • Operation priority settings: Administrators can now configure a cluster to prioritize either recovery or client I/O to align with business needs.
  • Multilingual support: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Turkish
  • Native SNMP support: Easier integration with existing monitoring and management systems.

Enhancements

  • S.M.A.R.T. tests: Rapid and complete tests are now both supported, with the ability to schedule tests to monitor disk health proactively.
  • Logs: Added user event logs to improve traceability and monitoring, and SMB deletion history to support auditing and compliance needs.
  • Information visibility: Background tasks now display execution progress, and more comprehensive cluster, storage, and resource information is provided across the interface.
  • System management: Enhanced notification consistency and alert configuration reliability, simplified notification setup with predefined SMTP server options, increased quota management flexibility, and refined administrative capabilities to support advanced cluster management scenarios.

Known Issues

  • In certain browser environments, adjusting column widths in log lists may cause minor UI flickering. This does not affect system functionality.
  • In uncommon multi-network deployment scenarios, the "Node" page might not display public IP information. This does not impact typical customer environments.
  • The cluster status may occasionally display a “daemons have recently crashed” warning. This does not affect normal user operations. We plan to fix this issue in the next release.
  • When creating a bucket in the Object Service, the bucket name must contain at least three characters. This does not affect normal use.
