Why is the SSD cache hit rate low?

Applied Products:
When the SSD cache hit rate is low, that means the ratio of reads to writes is too small. It could also mean that the reads are not repeated or the cache capacity is too small, causing the count number of cache hits to be low.

It is possible to adjust the block size of the SSD cache in order to help to reduce or prevent the low hits caused by capacity limitation. For that, you need to go to Storage & Snapshots > Cache Acceleration > select "Manage" and then "Settings" > click on "Next" and you will find te option to change the “Bypass Block size”. Adjust and increase the handling capacity of the cache to improve the hit rate.
