Plex for QNAP TS-128A, TS-228A and TS-328 ARMv8-based NAS Now Available for Download
Taipei, Taiwan, November 30, 2018 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that Plex® is now supported by QNAP’s ARMv8 64-bit NAS models, including the TS-128A, TS-228A and TS-328. Users of these NAS can now download the Plex Media Server app from the QTS App Center.
The TS-128A, TS-228A, and TS-328 are multimedia-focused NAS models that provide complete file storage and facilitate easy multimedia file management. With the addition of Plex Media Server support, users of these NAS can now enjoy a centralized entertainment portal for greater multimedia enjoyment. QNAP also invites all of our NAS users to share their Plex usage experience on the Plex Forum.
With the Plex Media Server app, setting up a QNAP NAS as a Plex Media Server is easy, and allows users to stream media files from their NAS to mobile devices, DLNA-compatible devices, and TVs by using common streaming devices (including Roku®, Apple TV®, Google Chromecast™, and Amazon Fire TV®).
