How do I sync HDP for SaaS backup data to another NAS with Hybrid Backup Sync?

Last modified date: 2025-11-28

Applicable Products

Starting from version 2.4, the product previously known as Boxafe has been renamed to HDP for SaaS.

Scenario

You can sync HDP for SaaS data from one NAS to another NAS using Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS). You may want to do this to create redundant backup or to make backup available from a second NAS.

Tip
You can manually copy backup data from one NAS to another NAS using the 'rsync' command. For details, see How do I copy HDP for SaaS backup data to another NAS?

Step 4: Run the HBS sync job on the source NAS

Run the one-way sync job:

  1. Go to HBS 3 Hybrid Backup Sync > Sync on the source NAS.
  2. Select the backup job created in Step 3 of this tutorial.
  3. Click Sync now.
The sync job runs and the HDP for SaaS storage path contents on the source NAS is synced to the HDP for SaaS storage path of the destination NAS.
    Important
