New Features

• QuRouter, integrated with HBS 3, ensures data security using Airgap+ networking by automatically disconnecting the backup drive from the device when backups are not in progress. This feature is only available in QHora-321 and QHora-322 models.
• Added support for certificate-based mutual authentication on select QNAP products to strengthen security within enterprise solutions.

Enhancements

• QuRouter now supports dynamic interface type matching for WAN and LAN interfaces in IPv6 firewall rules. This simplifies rule creation by allowing a single rule to apply to multiple interfaces based on their type.
• Improved port forwarding settings to allow users to configure custom services with port numbers that match those of disabled system services. This enhancement provides greater customization options for port forwarding rules.
• Starting with QuRouter 2.4.0, the router will automatically create a backup of the current configuration prior to initiating the firmware update. For users who have scheduled firmware updates, a new option is available to determine whether the update process should continue even if the backup fails.
• QuRouter now includes a shortcut for copying WireGuard public keys.
• The system will now automatically indicate whether the installed firmware version is the most recent available. This feature provides users with a clear status of their firmware and helps them identify when updates are necessary.

Other Change

• Improved the certificate mechanism in QuRouter 2.4.2 to improve security and reliability. The system automatically regenerates the router certificate upon updating the router firmware, ensuring uninterrupted services.
