Answer
If you restart the NAS while a RAID scrubbing job is in progress, the job will be terminated and all progress will be lost. Although the RAID scrubbing job will automatically start again after the system restarts, the job will restart from the beginning.
To manually stop a RAID scrubbing job, follow these steps:
- Open Storage & Snapshots.
- Go to Storage > Storage/Snapshots.
- Select a storage pool or static volume whose status is "Ready (Scrubbing)".
- Click Manage.
The storage pool or volume management window opens. - Select a RAID 5 or RAID 6 group.NoteRAID scrubbing is only available for RAID 5 and RAID 6 groups.
- Click Manage > Stop RAID Scrubbing.
The system stops RAID scrubbing on the storage pool or static volume.TipTo start RAID scrubbing again, click Manage > RAID Scrubbing in the same window.
