Enhancements
- To comply California laws, the default admin password is now the device's serial number converted to lowercase.
- If a local SnapSync job fails because of insufficient space, the event log now displays the reason.
- NFS now supports a user account being a member of more than 16 groups.
- Modified the rules for disk write errors to make them less sensitive.
- The event log now shows the reason that an export/import storage pool task failed.
- Enhanced the root account policy.
Fixed Issues
- The system could not check for firmware updates if proxy authentication was enabled.
- Under certain conditions, installing a QM2 card in the PCIX slot furthest from the power supply caused system startup errors.
- Under certain conditions, services would not work after a UPS recovery.
- Under certain conditions, users would temporarily loses access to their shared folders on one storage controller during controller restart, takeover, or giveback.
- Under certain conditions, users could not access their shared folders using NetBIOS after the NAS had restarted.
- Under certain conditions, a disk would drop out of a RAID group after clicking Reset System Storage Pool.
- NAS free space appeared to be different from the QES UI and from a Windows client.
- Changed NTB link judgment timeout to 1 second to prevent abnormal storage controller restarts.
- Modified dual controller client and session handling for NFS 4.1 multipath, to prevent NFS disconnections when HA is in Takeover mode.
- The source name and destination hostname can no longer be the same when creating a remote SnapSync job.
- Added iSCSi ACL. This feature allows you to restrict which LUNs an iSCSI initiator can see after connecting to the NAS.
- Added retention time feature to the recycle bin. Every day the system automatically deletes files that have been in the recycle bin for longer than the specified time.
- Several minor bug fixes.
