Applicable Products

Container Station v5.0.1.2145 and later

Root Cause

To maintain the security and stability, newer versions of Container Station now require network information, such as the Default Gateway, when configuring containers in Bridge mode.

Solution

  1. Open Container Station.
  2. From the Overview page, click the container name.
    The container details page opens.
  3. Click Settings.
    The Container Settings page opens.
  4. Go to Advance setting > Network.
  5. Configure the following settings:
    • Network Mode: Select Bridge.
    • Use Interface: Select the virtual switch used to connect to the network.
      Note
You must use a virtual switch with an assigned IP address (Static or assigned by a DHCP client).
  6. Open Network & Virtual Switch and verify the settings were correctly configured
  7. Start the Docker container.
